Raven had a feeling she'd like the watch, which pleased him more than he let on. He was intending to get it fixed up so that he could gift her with it, knowing she would appreciate it far better than the idiot who was so careless. "I saw a place when I was heading here but it was closed for the evening. I'm hoping they have something that will do this justice." He basked in her praise for a moment before sighing softly.
If anyone else had asked for the details behind his recent situation he would have fed them a very short and distinctly altered version, however he respected Jord and knew that she would be as honest with him as he was with her. This was what he needed right now, someone to be blunt and smack him out of any stupidity. He knew that she'd be good for that. "Yeah, well when I asked what she had planned she had mentioned video games, Thai food, and dessert. I should have assumed dessert would be her, although I wasn't going to get my hopes up. I had remembered I was supposed to meet one of my friends for ice cream, turns out Rave knew her too and wanted to come along."
From the tone of his voice it was obvious that at the time Raven had thought there was nothing wrong with that. "So we're waiting for our friend outside the place, and she's all cuddling with me, but the minute our friend arrives and we go inside there's a total mood shift." He took a sip of his beer, rubbing at his eyes. "She starts acting like she wants nothing to do with me, and cuddling up to our friend. I start feeling pretty shitty and go to the bathroom to get my head on straight. I come out, our friend is leaving, she looks hurt and confused, and I'm wondering what I missed."
