Athena shut the door behind him and smiled, leading him down the hall that divided her apartment into the open area that was her living room and kitchen. To the right, the living room was decorated in white, accented with Grecian blue and purple. The kitchen was slightly elevated, and the color scheme continued with white and blue tile. Further down the hall was the guest restroom, Athena's study, and the room which held her loom. The hallway stopped at her bedroom.
"This is it." She paused in the hall, uncertain about what to show him. Surely he wouldn't want to see the remnants of what was, mostly, her completely mortal life. The furnishings were tasteful, chosen for their comfort and elegance. The shelves held books and various photographs, a few works of art from various times and places, but nothing which screamed of antiquity. Athena made it a conscious habit to live in the present.
