I didn't even know she was interested in anyone! was CeCe's first, incongruous thought. She really needed to start paying closer attention to the immortal community if something like Divorce getting married could happen without her notice --

CeCe spoke very firmly, "Dear, I want you to go into your pantry and open up that bag of chips I know you have in there. I will be right there."
This wasn't something Divorce should have to face on her own - this must be something that was tearing at her very nature, and talking about it over the phone was most certainly not good enough. Something that CeCe didn't exactly advertise - because what was the need? - was that she could be anywhere 'she' already was. It helped, though, to give others something to hold on to, and the opening of the bag would be exactly that.
