Who: Death and Ana Mendez
What: Investigatin'
When: Tuesday night
Where: Ana/Inanna's apartment
Thank goodness for Analise, an out-of-work angel from the guardian department of Heaven. She was a sweetheart with a face that had graced some of the masterpieces of the Renaissance and bouncy golden locks, and she loved Gladys. She was also available round the clock for babysitting, and so Death had called her up and she had come to his place in record time. Gladys was asleep, but Death was loathe to leave her alone, and so the angel came and he thanked her profusely, then left. He traveled swiftly to Inanna's side of town, brushing past the remnants of her people, strippers, hookers, strippers who would profusely deny being hookers, and so on and so forth with stony eyes until he came to the door he knew had been Inanna's. He could tell that it was unlocked, but he didn't bother with such trivial things as doors and, instead, simply passed through it.
"Ms. Mendez?" He called upon entering and, in a smaller voice, added, "Inanna?"
