Enola didn't want to tell anyone because she felt so overwhelmingly exposed. Too many questions. Not enough answers and she was not used to second guessing herself. She felt diminished which was evident in the current lack of her usual glow.
"It would be easier if you asked me how the sun rises in the morning. That I could answer." The corners of her lips twitched in a tired smile. "Is Fish still alive?"
