Who: Pipp and Michaela When: Monday morning, around 6:00 AM Where: In front of the fountain of Holy Innocents Catholic school
So, at the moment, the faerie Pipp was currently in possession of a lot of fish.
Guppies, to be exact. He grew sick of seeing them in their tiny little aquariums in the window of a pet shop and suddenly came up with the idea of moving them to a bigger aquarium. A fountain!
The fountain in front of the school that Michaela attended was the one he was most familiar with in the area, and besides, it wasn't too far from the pet store. Which was what he needed - don't ask him how he was able to saunter off from the pet store with a backpack full of guppies without paying. Just don't ask.
Of course, they were in zip bloc bags full of water, but that wouldn't do for too long. He even had some in his pants pockets, some in his jacket, which explained the slight wiggle in his walking.
6 AM. Classes didn't start until, what, 8:30? Still - teachers and nuns would be around soon. So Pipp made quick work of unzipping his backpack and taking out zip bloc bag after bag, unzipping them and dumping the wriggling little fish into the fountain. They all came in a variety of colours - and it was amazing how he could fit so many fish in his backpack.
He grinned as a small yellow fish escaped from the zip bloc bag, to his hand, and into the water. This would be good. The kids would sure get a kick out of it. He had no idea how long the guppies could survive in the fountain water, but still.
