There was something spectacular to the angel about being in the presence of a virtue. Of the tasks for which angels were created - the protection and care of mortals often being primary; Raphael couldn't think that the care and protection of the virtues came a close second. They were what aided in the Almighty's cause - their presence alone often seemed enough to remind Raphael just what he was sent to the dirt to do.
Allowed inside he looked the virtue over, trying to take in the scope of her injuries. "What has she done to you?" he asked, his voice just barely over a whisper but filled with concern and compassion. Slowly he shut the door himself, closing the gap between he and the virtue, to prop her up with gentle hands.
"Let's get you settled," he said, looking about for guidance.
