Lela hadn't even noticed any change in attitude, especially since it had only been very brief. She hadn't hugged long. And if she had noticed, she couldn't blame him. She was used to being pinned to a wall and forced to kiss Iktomi, so she couldn't have blamed him.
She practically beamed, "It's a lovely gift. Now I don't have to be sad when my rainbows disappear, because I'll have one at home." She went to turn the lights back on and to open the blinds. "Well, it's not overly exciting here. It's usually pretty quiet since I live by myself. But I've got cable, internet, games and such if you get bored. And I don't mind if you bring friends over." She wanted to add as long as they didn't trash the place or if anything wasn't stolen... but she felt she didn't have to tell him that.
