“Then, maybe you’ll want to see it again later…..I know I don’t get tired of this,” Caerus said brightly as he took the little gift out of its’ bag. It didn’t look like anything much….an odd plastic thing somewhere between a top and……what, Caerus wasn’t sure. It was a little tricky to do in the dark, but he held the little toy steady on the counter and pulled the strip of plastic that set it spinning furiously. When he started it going, it also lit up brilliantly in the colours of the rainbow, putting on a light show as it spun. Caerus smiled happily. “A rainbow in the dark, how often can you see that?”
It may have just been a cheap child’s toy, but Caerus had always found the strange little top beautiful. He figured if anyone could appreciate the dancing rainbow he’d set in motion, it would be someone like Lela.
