Who: Baseball and OPEN
What: It's the first day of Spring, so he's out and about!
When: Friday afternoon, 3pm
Where: Central Park
Status/Rating: Incomplete/Open/Not High
It was starting to get nice around the city. The air was still crisp and cool, and a little too biting for short sleeves, but the sun was shining and there was no snow pouring from the sky so really, there was no reason for Baseball to be inside. As far as he was concerned, Spring started once everyone was down in Florida and Arizona, getting ready for spring training. But today, on the official first day of spring, he found himself needing to get out of the apartment he'd spent the last four months sleeping in. He made for Central Park, baseball equipment slung over his back and shoulders and, eventually, a trail of kids following behind him as they slowly filtered out of school.
It wasn't even fifty degrees out, but after just half an hour Baseball had the group of kids sweating, shouting, and laughing as they played on the makeshift diamond he'd created in the grass. As wrapped up in the game as they were, they notice when, after about ninety minutes and the bottom of the fifth, he slipped away from the field leaving all equipment he'd brought behind. He always had more.
