Bonnie Parker was a woman Jesse could respect as far more than just a wife and mother. She reminded him of his Zee and his Mary-- his former wife and his current nine year old daughter. He never would say aloud that Bonnie was a good role model (if only because he knew his wife would say that he was absolutely crazy for suggesting that Bonnie of Bonnie and Clyde was anyone to look up to) but he thought it. If a woman had to hold a gun --which he was generally against-- then Bonnie was the woman to do it. Perhaps she and Clyde had shed a bit more blood than he'd ever allowed in his gang, but times had been tough and Jesse could respect that.
He grinned when he spotted her, distracting himself enough so that his daughter was able to speed off ahead on her scooter. So long as she didn't try and cross the street Jesse didn't care too much. Instead he continued along at his current pace until he'd walked up behind Bonnie, still smiling. "Well, well, Miss. Parker," he greeted her. "I dare say you're a sight for sore eyes. Mighty good to see you again."
