He had waited long enough. Now that he was set up in the city, the home well guarded and the business flush already, it was time to act. When he thought about it, it was lucky that he'd met the unlucky dog-god son of hers in the bar last week. With her hiding so well, it would have been months lurking around her neighborhood waiting for the trace of her. After that confrontation, though, he could follow the feeling of Xolotl right back to her front door.
He'd been watching her building for days, and she hadn't come out. Now, he was sick of watching, sick of waiting. He didn't knock at her door when he came to it, just stood and let his presence be felt. Agusto stood formally as he'd been directed to at his father's side for the first hour, then began a little dance that could only mean one thing.
Tezcatlipoca cleared his throat and said casually to the closed door, "Your newest son needs to use the toilet, Flower Eagle. I suggest you let us in."
