Oh, what a busy week so far. Freyja had been a little preoccupied with some... personal business and had only been home in the evenings, leaving her daughters with the nanny and their personal teacher. Freyja had just finished laying down a very tired Gersemi to bed, and Hnoss was in her room studying. Hnoss could often tell when her parents weren't exactly happy with each other and it always seemed to bother her. Freyja had spent nearly an hour consoling her daughter before Hnoss seemed happier. While Freyja was not the best wife, she was a wonderful mother. The bond she had with her daughters was a beautiful one. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her daughters. She had always given them everything they needed... maybe not everything the wanted, depending on whether or not it was necessary.
Closing the door to Gersemi's room, she peered down the hall. She had no plans that night and, really... she just wanted to stay in with Odr. Perhaps she would succeed in consoling him as well.
Making her way downstairs, she found him in one of their many living rooms. Their house was huge, nothing short of Freyja's original hall in Sweden. It may have not been the same but it had just as many rooms and could hold an unbelievable about of people. Smiling gently, she walked over and sat next to him. Resting her chin on his shoulder, she peered up at his face. "You've been avoiding me," she said in a quiet voice. Well, that was pretty obvious. But it was usually Freyja would had to get him to talk to her. She knew when he was upset, it was sort of hard to miss.
