It was too much, too much, too powerful, too explosive. Hockey hadn't expected this. He was stronger than he had ever been, even after winning the Cup or the gold for Canada all those years ago. His mind swam like he had taken every single drug possible and in overdose amounts and he could barely concentrate to send off replies to his blog over his cell phone. The Garden, utterly blitzed off the power as well, wasn't helping. The lights flashed on and off, the Hockey Night in Canada theme song was blaring at a level that would hurt mortal eardrums and the only thing that was showing up on the jumbotron were big black letters, the words 'BLOOD FIGHT POWER' flashing repeatedly in a loop.
Hockey was doing the best he could to control it, skating constant suicides until he looked like a blur of blue on the ice. He couldn't stop, didn't want to stop and even if he did, he wouldn't have been able to force himself to discontinue the skating. He wasn't even sweating, barely breathing and as he skated by a line of pucks, Hockey fired them in quick succession and broke pane after pane of reinforced glass. The Garden, at the very least, was able to concentrate enough to reform them so Hockey just did it again, the sounds ringing out and mixing with the music.
