Hockey went down to his knees in an attempt to block the shot, but it was a calculated move. He had hit the ice at least two seconds too early and even though his glove hand came up in an fabricated attempt to catch the puck, it whistled in between shoulder and outstretched arm to clang against the back post. Hockey only grinned, standing up and pulling off the mask for a moment to smile at the boy and clap. "Good one! Maybe in a few years, I'll be recruiting you for the Rangers!"
Mask back into place, he settled back into the proper stance to await the next shot, lapping up the power of the demi-god's attention even as the Garden had the cameras zoom in on both of them. Lights flickered happily and purple exclamation points appeared on the screen as the Garden began to blare 'The Good Ol' Hockey Game' over the sound system with glee, Hockey merely shaking his head indulgently.
