"You can hardly blame them..." Jord replied, imagining the reaction that any of her old friends would have if they saw her now. "And truth be told, its better to be wary of the immortal ones. Mortals used to know this..." Jord could wax on about these things for quite awhile. It was an odd tendency of hers, speaking to immortals about the qualities of the divine, but she often pondered upon such subjects and rather enjoyed hearing other perspectives.
"A wise choice..." the goddess replied, turning her attention away from Wrath as well. "I have done my best to avoid her. There are some enemies one can court and others one can turn...but that Sin acts beyond her given capacity. I want nothing to do with her."
Sato's nicknames for the young sports god and his team brought another smile to Jord's face, and she nodded. "Indeed. You can see what he was thinking...he's got one of the drugs on his team as well. A weapon of mass destruction, a hero, Death himself, and a powerful drug. But this is his battlefield. He got all of us out here, in his temple, and now he draws power from our presence. Looking at his team, you can see how he chooses his allies. Sports are as telling as battles, and battles tell the minds of the warriors." Jord paused a laughed a little, the sound of water and wind and spring, her mortal laugh lost in the sounds of the immortal. "Forgive me, I wax verbose. It's just very intriguing, all of it."
