Who: Wrath and Zelus
Where: Her apartment
When: Evening
Warnings: Alcohol, language, violence, cannibalism.

Her Fires had frozen but Wrath had her Prince to ignite them once again. His Hellfire combined with the anger of thousands of broke mortals had Wrath reinvigorated by the early hours of the morning. Just as the sun rose, Wrath had enough power to set to work at healing and after a few hours, her body was unblemished yet again. She was still freezing, however, even with the addition of Andras' fire and she left her apartment alone to slaughter random mortals for hours until she was feeling a bit warmer.

It was dark by the time she arrived to find her apartment empty and she wandered downstairs, waiting until that poor single mother was in the shower before picking the lock and stealing the two baby girls quietly. She took them upstairs and worked quickly. Shoving the tray of both human and beef burgers into the oven, Wrath took a look around her horribly messy apartment. There were bloodstains just inside her door, still wet from last night, weapons scattered everywhere and if he was curious enough, her bedroom door was open and the manacles and chains were reattached to the ceiling.

By the time Zelus arrived, she was standing at her counter dressed in a sinfully tight, short and low-cut black dress. There was a tarp spread out across the surface, a bowl filled with dripping little bones, the organs discarded and barely enough fresh meat to make four decent-sized burgers sizzling away in the oven. Whistling happily as she worked, her face was deathly pale and even the tortured screams of the now-bereft mother didn't warm her at all as she washed the innocent blood off her hands.

A couple six packs in hand and a bounce in his step brought on only by all of the uproar this little get together was causing, Zelus was ready for just about anything. Even the possibility of baby burgers, no matter how repulsing the thought was. No one could ever say he wasn't open to the idea of new experiences, but that was the downfall of being unable to say no to a pretty face.

He thought he cleaned up quite well, digging out some decent jeans that fit pretty damned good if he did say so himself, and a dark green button down rather then his usual arsenal of t-shirts.

The wailing of one of the downstairs tenants only proved that it would be a mystery meat sort of date after all, earning just the slightest grimace across Zel's face but it was gone as quickly as it came, lost as he jogged up a few flights of stairs. Propping himself up against the door frame that coincided with the text-messaged directions, he rapped his knuckles against the door to announce his arrival.

When would people learn never to doubt her word? Yes, she was a Sin but when she promised someone human flesh, she had to deliver. Plus, the mother's anger was beautiful and she knew that Death would feel it the instant the twins had died. But... she wasn't quite sure how squeamish this god was and she tossed out the bones, doing her best to wrap up the bloody tarp and shove it into the garbage can.

With the knock on the door, she pinched her cheeks in an attempt to give them a bit of colour but the attempt was in vain. Instead, she merely sighed a bit and made sure her hands were dry before walking over to the door. Damn, he looked good and she smiled up at him, raising up on tiptoes to press a light kiss to his cheek. "Find the place alright?" She asked, taking one of the six packs and sliding her other arm into the crook of his to lead him around the bloodstain and inside.

"Your siblings aren't very pleased with this visit, are they?" She asked in a deceptively sweet tone, having being able to feel their anger ever since last night. It was beautiful. "Seems like an awful lot of fuss over a dinner date, hm?"

Zel couldn't help but send a tiny thanks to Zeus when the door swung open to reveal a lot of skin and a little dress. How could you possibly go wrong with that sort of welcome, really.

"Nah, I've been around long enough to know this city like the back of my hand. Traffic was worse then actually just finding out the specifics," returning the quick brush of lips across her cool cheek with a flourish and following her lead into the apartment. The unmistakable smell and sight of blood couldn't help but bump his pulse up a few notches, an unconscious reaction that was as natural as the smell was familiar and comforting - something that he and all of his siblings seemed to share was an affinity for the stuff. Though the thought of them and the little temper tantrums that had spawned because of this dinner soured the moment slightly, Zel refused to draw on it for too long.

"They're just jealous that I got invited for dinner with someone who looks good enough to eat themself, if you don't mind me saying so. It would hardly be the first time I've done what I wanted without their approval, most definitely not the last," he grinned cheekily. "Besides, how could I possibly turn down such a generous offer, especially from someone who has managed to rile up my sister as much as you have. Add in that you offered to cook and I'm officially intrigued."

"Were you here when the towers fell?" She asked curiously as they stepped carefully around that bloodstain, Wrath grimacing just a little bit. She needed to get rid of the reminder of just how pathetically she had begged Death to stop. "That was a good day for me and mine."

With his next words, she let out a tinkling little laugh. "I'm afraid I'm too cold at the moment to make for good eating. Christian in-fighting, always fun." Her smile was wide as she guided them into the kitchen, the smell of the beef mixing with the smell of human flesh. Setting the six pack down on the table, she took a beer, cracking it open with her teeth.

"You should feel intrigued. And special. I don't cook for just anyone, you know." She let her eyes wander over him briefly, drawn to the fit of his jeans with a hungry look in her eyes before she turned away to bend down and check the burgers. "Dinner should be ready in a few. Beef or baby?"

"That was one chaotic freakin' day. I'd been downtown trying to raise a little hell on Wallstreet when the first plane hit. Afterward I found myself going crazy trying to work with all of the outcry for retaliation. Sweet, sweet times for me despite the general public opinion for that day."

Clucking his tongue, Zelus could only scowl a bit in commiseration with her mention of in-pantheon bickering. Even though the majority of his was locked within his family circle, there had been a few times over the centuries where he'd been in similar situations. "That's a pity, but of course it would only be gentlemanly of me to offer if there was any way I could you warm up," he graciously offered, a teasing grin lifting his lips as he playfully nudged at her shoulder. Beautiful lady on his arm, home-cooked food smelling up the place, there wasn't much more Zel could ask for at the moment.

Though watching Wrath pop a beer tab with her teeth was damned hot, if he did say so himself.

"Thoroughly feeling the warm fuzzies right now, darlin'. You'll have to let me know if there's anything I can do to help repay this special treat." An exaggerated wink and marginal widening of his grin followed the scrutiny, something he had no problem repeating over what that little bit of dress was hiding. Zel reached over and sat the other six-pack on the counter before snatching up one of his own, admiring the view as his hostess bent over the check the oven. "Let me start with beef and then we can let you persuade me otherwise."

Wrath laughed just a tad. "I was in Vegas when it happened but you can be sure I arrived the day after. The mortals were just so... angry. It was beautiful."

With his little scowl, she laughed again. "Kill a god in a church, fuck with a few whores and suddenly the angels and Horsemen get up in arms. Even the annoying walkie-talkie wanted to speak to me. A Sin, hearing the words of him? Quite the compliment." His next comment made her smile. "I'm afraid your fire wouldn't make that much of a difference. It's Hellfire I need. But that's why I keep my Demon Prince around as a roommate. We charge each others' batteries merely by existing." Her hip nudged his in return and she licked her lips. Why did the select few Greeks have to be so damned hot?

"I'm sure I could come up with something." Wrath murmured demurely as she pressed a kiss to Zelus' neck, letting her teeth brush over his skin before turning away to check on the burgers. They were finally ready and she took the tray out of the oven to set it on the table.

"I'm rather good at persuasion," She replied, grinning just a tad as she placed the burgers into buns, handing a plate of 'beef' burgers to him. Maybe, just maybe, there was a touch of human flesh mixed into them simply because it amused her. "I have managed to get several of your pantheon fighting for me. I really think I should get collars for the Phonoi." With a grin, she bit into her own burger, the human meat tasting delectable to her and she merely smiled, enjoying his attention.

"Sounds like you've been quite the busy little girl," he teased, tugging a piece of hair playfully in response to her hip check. He couldn't deny that hearing some of his sister's accusations being true sat on his chest a little uneasily, but right now there was no real threat. He was here for good food, even better company and whatever happened from there. No business would be handled tonight, and personally, none of it involved him directly.

It wasn't his problem, or his business.

There might be a small problem though, if his hostess were to keep it up with the little kisses and nibbling. It'd be such a shame to let good food get cold but it was a sacrifice he was willing to make.

"I'll hold you to that, I won't have it said that I don't do my part," he parried conversationally, leaning back comfortably against the counter top. An eyebrow cocked upwards at mention of the Phony Boys - that had been a little tid bit that he hadn't been made aware of, though he could easily see how they'd be easily pulled in. Wrath was a hot little number, and if he didn't value his manbits among other key organs, he could all too easily see himself under that same lure if there wasn't the threat of his siblings scattering pieces of him to the wind if he acted too much on that thought.

"You have been busy if you've got that lot under your thumb. Idiots are enough trouble on their own, trying to keep them in line doesn't really seem worth it. Little fuckers should have been drowned at birth." Unconsciously a small scowl flit across his features before it disappeared away. Zel could only blame too many headaches and pissing matches over the centuries, but he refused to dwell on it too much. There were far more pleasing things to think on, and he wouldn't let the little bitches ruin his good time. Turning back on his million watt smile, Zel bobbed his head in thanks for the burger while quickly ducking his head for a quick kiss to Wrath's pale cheek before she could pull away.

A quick bite to his burger before he could manage to stuff his foot down his throat any further, and the man nearly groaned aloud. Too many meals out of a box or delivered had made home cooking a delicacy worth savoring.

Screw the warnings. He could have wept at the woman's feet.

[OOC: OMG FAAAIL. I thought I replied to this already and didn't realize I had left you waiting >.< Please feel free to hurl bricks in my direction if I take so long again.]

Wrath simply shrugged. "What can I say? My purpose is to cause trouble and it's one I excel at." She gave him an easy smile, hoping that he wouldn't be too unsettled by her. After all, she wanted to fuck him, not kill him. Usually people fell under either of those two categories and Zelus wasn't one of the lucky ones who fell under both.

She waved her hand dismissively. "It wasn't that hard. High skirt, low shirt and a few good murders and they were hooked." She took another bite of her own burger, chewing thoughtfully and enjoying the taste of human flesh. "Ah, they're not all bad. There are three of them, one for each..." She looked down at her body and smirked just a bit before painting a look of fake innocence on her face as she looked back up at him. "Well, you really don't need to be subjected to my depraved sexual fantasies just yet."

With a little laugh, she took a swig of her beer and watched him eat with hidden glee. There wasn't that much human in his burger but it was enough to make her want to laugh. She really did amuse herself sometimes. "Excited that the big man's back in town?" She asked, quirking up an eyebrow. "I'm sure Hades isn't very pleased."
