He was surprised when the young female came up and asked to sit. Usually, people just kept on walking until they found an empty bench, it was odd, though welcome.
"Oh, no," he said, lifting himself up to scoot aside for her with a genuine smile. The archangel canted his head a bit, he could feel that she simply wasn't just some other mortal flitting about; though, she clearly wasn't Christian.
He noticed she had coffee in one hand and a bag that no doubt held other distractions in it. It always amused him how people went to such lengths to avoid appearing to be alone or without purpose.
"It's a nice day to just be outside," he said off handedly, watching as a young girl went skipping by, her nanny struggling to keep up behind her.
