"Nothing's wrong," Ares automatically replied, even though it was pretty obvious that something was amiss. He wasn't going to try and distract LSD from anything and soon enough the younger god spotted the source of Ares' frustration anyway.
"I have to go."
So much for a tangible excuse and a graceful exit. But even Ares knew that there was a time and place for everything and here and now wasn't ideal for the two of them to get into any sort of confrontation.
He slipped away from LSD, and the god of war cast a glance over at Heracles before he was consumed into the crowd, weaving his way through it, heading toward the exit.
