Persephone was quiet for a moment. She would be foolish not to know about the situation with Hades. While there was a moment where she wondered where he would go with this power and she wished there was a way to confront him, she brushed it aside. “..I am glad he has set you free. In return it only makes sense to prove you are grateful. People tend to not understand that in order to keep ourselves safe, we chose alternative options.” She would know. In keeping herself safe she was living in a city tucked away like a blanket. Some would call it the slums. Others would call it a hidden treasure. It had everything from flower shops, to strip clubs.
“Me?” She actually took a sip of hard lemonade and laughed a little. “I’ve been here for a few weeks now. When I arrived I saw this small shop owned by an ill lady. She adored the shop so much that she gave it to me, trusted me. So, I fixed it up with some help by the guy who owns a thrift store. He gave me the bed and everything. I first just had flowers, remaining from what the ill lady had. Then as the shop grew I just bought more things and the shop has been doing well since. I’ve actually come to like it.”
The Goddess listened intently to Adonis with soft eyes and set her bottle to the side with an adoring smile. “Adonis.” She began. “Just because many are so captivated by ill words and violence, it doesn’t mean that you have to be too.” She assured, fully turning to him. "I understand why you feel like you should stay concerned with the recent events, but if you have strong feelings about someone, it’s only natural to feel upset if she seems to still harbor feelings for someone else.”
Taking another sip from her drink she gave a light shrug. “Maybe she doesn’t. Sometimes people need privacy to part or to state that they need time to think about all that is happening.”
