WHO: Grannus and OPEN WHEN: Tuesday morning WHERE: Starbucks WHAT: Nothing all that important!
Gray was looking through a local newspaper's classifieds, sipping on a Darjeeling tea, basically relaxing and enjoying his morning. He could have stayed home to do so, but he liked to get out in the hustle and the bustle of common man, and feel the day heat up as the sun rose in the sky. He wasn't looking for anything in particular in the paper -- unless anyone was advertising accounting services, he still needed to find one -- he was just curious. The mortals chose such interesting things to put in the classified section. He truly felt it was a measuring stick of the times, what ads were in there.
As he scanned the pages, he ran his mind through what the day would bring. Hopefully he'd have some fun clients today, maybe even some fellow Gods to converse and catch up with. He did like to keep in touch with the other immortal beings he knew of in the city, to remind himself that he still was a God. His life was rather mundane, to be honest, but he'd never been an overly powerful deity. Nor was he power-hungry in any way. If he was, the world would be in trouble, since he basically ran his very own modern temple. Every day they came in and paid money to worship him. Things had never been so good, even in ancient times! But still, he was modest, and he enjoyed walking the line between his mortal facade and the truth. He rather liked the current status quo.
