Who: Divorce (itsnotyouitsme) and Communism (oppressed).
What: Getting rid of those loud, pesky lovers going at it above Communism's apartment.
When: Monday evening.
Where: Communism's place in Brooklyn.
Rating: TBA, but doubtful anything too risque.
Divorce had said after the rush hour, but early enough for Communism's neighbors to hopefully not get too randy. But New York was nothing but rush hour, in all fairness, and though Divorce kept tabs on as many of her fellow New Gods as possible, she and Communism had never been overly close. Not unless you were interested in discussing semantics, at any rate. Needless to say, it took her a bit of time to find Communism's -- Dmitri's -- apartment. She'd considered asking and immediately dismissed the idea in favor of a more exciting adventure.
She'd dressed for the weather and for the company before taking a bus to Brighton Beach. Divorce, after all, was hardly glamorous all the time, and jeans, a heavy sweater and public transportation seemed to fit the feel of the evening far better than heels, hose and a cab. Once she arrived in Little Odessa, it was just a matter of following the immortal buzz at the back of her head, as well as having picked up some information about Communism's mortal identity.
By the time 7:30 had both come and gone, she'd found the right building and the right floor. A smile for one of the residents saw Divorce squeeze into the building without needing to buzz in first. She considered being playful for a moment, but a thoughtful look at the apartment door made her decision. She knocked instead, short and without any pretense.
