Who: Andhrimnir & Raven
When: Mid-afternoon
Where: Near West 46th Street, Manhattan
Warnings: some only slightly sublimated rage
Andhrimnir liked to arrive at the restaurant he where he currently found employment a bit earlier than his scheduled shift. It gave him a good idea of what was going on in the kitchen on that particular day, to not only acquaint himself with what was on the special for the day, but also with who was going to be working with him and who had the kitchen before he did. If it was that redhead, he always had to do some clean up before he could even begin his day.
But on his walk to work, while creating lists and going over details in his head, something caught his attention. Something ugly. Something evil. Something that just should not be in existence. At all. Ever. Anywhere.
It was there inside the convenience store. Right inside the automatic door that opened for him with a soft woosh. In plain sight, for every one to see. It was corrupting everyone that viewed it’s hideousness. What about the children?
Andre didn’t stop to consider his actions, he simply moved. Three steps into the store and he was standing in front of it. A life-sized cardboard cut out of Rachael Ray, smiling vapidly, holding a box of Ritz crackers. A small growl reverberated in the back of his throat, though he was unaware of it. His arms snapped forward abruptly, grabbing onto the replica of the woman at the place where her throat would be.
Several patrons of the store and all of the cashiers stopped to watch his actions, but Andre only had eyes for his cardboard nemesis. Unable to strangle the cut-out, he first attempted to rip the head completely off. Failing in that, he started to bend the head backwards. Anything so that her clueless face was no longer looking at him.
