Candy nuzzled in at his side, always comfortable with being pressed against him. She finally wrapped her other arm around his shoulders, holding him to her as they talked. "You can't take care of everyone, MJ. Sometimes... I know, it's hard, but sometimes you just... Have to let some people take care of themselves." She wasn't telling him to turn his back on anyone by any means, but she saw how hard he worked day in and day out to take care of far too many people.
A soft, sweet laugh came after he asked his question, and she curled her hand at the back of his head. "It's a burden, I know." Giggling again, she went back to petting his hair. "It's just how I handle things, MJ. You know that."
She squeezed his shoulder and had no intentions of moving away from him just yet. "You mean Twitter," she spoke softly again. "Well you do have to admit, she's adorable... And you two do flirt like horny teenagers." Her tone was light and she looked down at him again, grinning. "And, let's face it...She's a Goddess and he's a mortal. It's not like those sorts of relationships ever last."
