Despite an invitation to dine with some friends from MSNBC, Mark headed into the theatre district for what was intended to be a quick lunch at Joe Allen, his favorite bar. Nothing like a mid-afternoon drink to get through the rest of the day. Bad as that sounded, it was a necessary evil. "Fully ready for war, my ass," he muttered underneath his breath after practically throwing his coat at the woman at the coat check. He wasn't mad at her and for his attitude, her tip would be far higher than it normally was. He just didn't understand why North Korea had a hard on for starting shit with America.
"Whiskey. And a burger with fries. Medium-rare." He nodded to the bartender after sitting down. His Blackberry, pretty much glued to his right hand at this point, buzzed again and when he looked down the only thing he could do was roll his eyes. "What the hell would North Korea have to do if it wasn't planning war with someone?" he asked to no one in particular.
