Adonis was an hour late. It had taken him that long just to decide on something decent to wear. This was the first time he would be amongst his pantheon since his freedom and he wanted to make a good impression even if he had no connections to any of them. His clothing was simple; a light green dress shirt under a suit jacket with matching slacks and polished dress shoes. His mask was simple, but it suited him and as the car drove up to the private club, he only had a moment or two of insecurity.
Adonis was free; he was their equal now and he kept that in mind as he strode confidently through the crowd. Sensing Hades, he looked away, not wanting to give the Usurper King reason to strip away his freedom again. Eventually, he made his way to the bar where he knocked back at least three rum and cokes as his gaze wandered through the party-goers, looking for a few people in particular. Aphrodite? Not present. Persephone? Not present. Zeus? Definitely not present.
At ease, he made his way through the crowd, doing his best not to spill his drink and then he felt a very familiar presence. With a smile on his face, he made his way over to the goddess he knew was Jord, even with that beautiful mask, and bent at the waist, his free hand reaching for hers and pressing a light kiss to the back. "Care to dance with me, Earth Mother?" He asked softly, blue eyes focused up on hers as he straightened out of his bow.
