There was really nothing in the world that could convince Iris there was any party better than a party thrown by one of her own. She'd been having a great time - a forget your worries and drink away your problems one - and had only stopped for a moment to find herself a fresh drink. Eros had left her with that bunch of hulking mortals he knew, and while she could have gotten a drink from one of them, she had really needed a breather from the sweaty men pressed around her. Not that they weren't any fun...they were more entertaining than she'd expected. Still...it was always good to...oof. Her train of thought was abruptly stopped by a collision....her own into someone she didn't know.
How mortifying. She hoped a smile would improve the situation. "I'm so sorry....that was my fault. I wasn't paying attention to where I was stepping."
