After a long day, she found herself bustling about, making sure everything was perfection before she finally got dressed. When was the last time she'd been to a party thrown by one of her own? Far too long, she thought. It was a shame.
She had put off getting dressed until the very last moment - and the anticipation had her humming happily to herself in pleasure as she moved about. She had wondered which colour to drape herself in...each and every one looked equally good on her, of course. She was Iris. In the end, she decided on a silvery-grey gown...she could stun people with colour all on her own if she wanted to later. Her mask was beautiful...different coloured jewels glittered on it, delicate chains hung down. The both of them, together, looked just right to her critical eye when she finally put them on. Perfect.
Iris slipped into her shoes, picked up her purse and slipped out the door. Behind the mask, she could have been anyone as she headed to Prive. Anyone at all.
As she walked into the club, she had to smile to herself, wondering who exactly she might find here.
