Who: Jord and Adonis
Where: Jord's apartment
When: Late Thursday evening
Warnings: Alcohol, a multitude of happiness.
It had been difficult but Adonis thought he had finally figured everything out. He had worked hard at being able to see everything inside of him at once and eventually, he found the right thread to pull and everything untangled. Adonis was clearer now, he thought he had a sense of self. He'd spent the days wandering throughout Blake's apartment, drinking the wine, poking around in the closets and doing his best to find himself. Thursday evening, everything seemed to make as much sense as it ever would and after spending an hour or two sitting cross-legged on the floor and sorting through the various threads in his mind, he knew he could go back to Jord.
But he wanted to seem new, better, and he ended up searching Blake's apartment for something to wear. Luckily, the designer had kept some of Adonis' photoshoot clothes and Adonis pulled on a white dress shirt, left it untucked and a bit rumpled before pulling on some black slacks and one of Blake's amazingly designed blazers. Looking in the mirror, he frowned slightly at the sight of his shortened hair and drew his hands down over it until it fell freely around his shoulders. Making a split-second decision, he allowed some of the glamour to fall away and the golden locks took on softly spiraled curls.
Smiling at himself in the reflection with approval, his former vanity was quashed in the advent of all the changes. Yes, he was beautiful, but Adonis could be more than that now. Quickly leaving the apartment, he hopped into the waiting car and told the driver they had two stops to make. Eventually, he pulled up in front of Jord's apartment building, vegan take-out in one hand and strong, Greek wine in the other and he skipped up the stairs eagerly, leaning back against the wall of the apartment to think. Knocking on her door softly, he leaned against the door frame and tugged at the collar of his shirt.
Would she like the changes? Adonis had very little of his reservation left. In place of that constantly controlled demeanor, there was nothing but excitement, but openness, but light and freedom and love and the beautiful green of nature.
