Buffy Summers' life didn't consist of much. She lived the normal teenage life. Went to school, did her homework, went out with her friends..until that fateful day when she was told that she was the chosen one, the vampire slayer. This came as a shock to her, although it explained the unbelievable strength she had always possessed.
She had moved from Los Angeles with her mother to the town of Sunnydale, California in hopes of starting a new life. That was a much harder task than she had originally thought.
After that point, her nights consisted of sneaking out to fight the 'forces of darkness' and constantly making excuses to her mom as to why she had unexplained bruises all over her body.
Needing a break from that scene for a night, her and her friends, Willow and Xander, had decided to hit up the Bronze, basically the only night club within the towns limits.
"Come on guys, this'll be fun!" she yelled back to them, trying to talk over the loud music.
Their faces didn't seem so convinced.
After plopping herself down into a comfy chair, her eyes darted across the dance floor in search of a cute boy who would catch her eye.
At that same moment, Willow had tapped her on the shoulder, immediately whispering into her ear.
"That guy over there is looking at you."
Buffy's eyes looked over in the direction Willow had pointed and a sudden fit of laughter came over her.
"Will, he's like in his twenties!" she said, trying desperately to control her giggles causing major attention to their corner.
Diregarding her own words, she couldn't seem to tear her eyes away from either. Maybe it was his tall dark and handsome look. Nonetheless, there was some sort of connection between them, or so she thought.
"Hey guys? I'm gonna go get us some drinks." she said flashing Willow a playful smirk and a wink.
With an approving nod, she bounced over to the bar and ordered them some sodas, still well aware of the gaze that was upon her.
