A.J. was outside having a smoke, one thing he most definitely did away from Hellewise, while sitting in the garden. Even though he knew Maya was Hellewise's sister, he was glad to have her gone. Yet still, there was a huge massacre. If all the mass killings stopped, he'd be quite happy there. His best friend was alive, he had a girlfriend, and the house was fairly nice. He was looking at a rose bush that was just barley blooming with the beginning of spring and wished it would be full of bloom. He looked around, making sure no one was around. He tried again, willing them to grow. And they did. That's when he realized it was him. He checked the network on his phone and saw Hellewise's post. He talked to her for a few before carefully picking one of the roses, taking the thorns off with his pocket knife and went up the stairs to their room. He opened the door and walked inside. "Hellewise?" He called out.

Since Maya's death, Hellewise had been a lot sadder. A.J. could make her feel better at times, but she missed her sister terribly, though she felt bad for it as well. Maya had killed a lot of people since coming here and as long as she was there, she would always be a danger. But she was still Hellewise's twin sister. Despite her grief, she wasn't happy that she woke up a vampire. She loved Maya, but she didn't want to understand her. Not like that. She was afraid off hurting people, of becoming like Maya. She was also afraid of hurting A.J. but she needed him there. Hearing his voice, she sat up on the bed. "I'm here," she called.

	Hellewise didn't look at him as he came in. She didn't know why he didn't request to move out of the room, or even just stay somewhere else. Why did he want do be there for her like this? She saw the rose as he held it to her and she took it, looking at the rose instead of him. "I don't know," she answered. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	A.J. noticed that she refused to look at him. He put his finger under her chin, tilting it so that she was looking at him. "This doesn't change the way I feel about you," He assured her, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Hellewise looked up at him as he tucked her hair behind her ear. He was still being so gentle with her, as if nothing was different. "I'm no different than her now," Hellewise pointed out. That might not be true, exactly. Theorn had proven to be a good vampire and there were others around here, but she couldn't help but think this made her a bad person. 	A.J. furrowed his brow. "That's not true. She enjoyed killing, she was sadistic. If, and that's a very strong if, you kill, you're not going to enjoy it and taunt people over it. 	Hellewise could honestly admit that she would never enjoy killing. Even now, as a creature that wanted to drink blood and wanted to kill, she hated herself for it. "I don't want to kill anyone," she said softly. "I don't even want to hurt anyone." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
