Entry tags:fleur weasley, ron weasley

Who: Fleur and Ron Weasley.
Where: Kitchen, Dining Room.
What: eating, catching up.
When: Early Evening.
Why: The muses are awake.
Rating: Low.

Fleur didn’t like it here, no one did, but Fleur especially- she wanted to settle down from a chaotic life- nurse Bill back to health and then start their fairytale. But though the rich French Witch had always seemed self centred it was the fact that by playing this game she’d been taken from Bill when he needed her most- it was Bill that made Fleur feel such anger towards this dolls house, she’d lived her whole life dreaming for the opportunity to become a loving wife; then the Battle of Hogwarts and now this. This made her feel like a failure because she hadn’t protected Bill from the werewolf and now couldn’t restore him back to health. She was pale and sullen as she seemingly floated down the stairs to the kitchen where she began to make a basic meal. She turned when she heard familiar footsteps- “Ron!” She was relieved to say the least, and instantly bottled everything up and bursted out a famous Fleur smile.

Ron was extremely confused, which wasn't exactly a new state of being for him or anything, but this took the confusion to a whole new level. He didn't understand where he was or why he was here. The concept of a portkey was not lost on him, of course, but he'd never known one with such an intricate location before. Not to mention there were so many people here; people who just didn't seem right to the young Weasley. So many weird things were happening and he didn't know how to fix them. Hermione was leading some defense charge, while he wished she'd just lay low. Voldemort was one thing, they knew how he operated. The things people talked about in here...not so much.

Making his way into the kitchen, since he was always hungry, Ron stopped short when he saw someone was already there. His eyes widened a little when he saw Fleur, but he remembered quickly that she was his brother's wife now; not the girl he was incoherently babbling over in his fourth year. "Hey Fleur," he said with a wave, shuffling into the kitchen and trying not to look embarrassed. "What are you making?"

She smiled warmly as him embracing him for a moment, “How are you?” She asked- her accent still prominent even though she tended to stay in Britain for a long periods of time. “Fish and chips” She stated, it was the greasiest thing she could think of. “Would you like some?” She offered with a smile. Moving back over to the bench and began frying the chips and fish. She was in a pair of tight jeans and a pale pink silk blouse. Since being in here she’d spoken to Cedric Diggory, which was insane. Maybe this was a psychotic break and she was insane.

"Alright, I guess. I feel like a bloody nutter, though." This place was just not right. In all the things Ron had had to face with Voldemort, there had been nothing like this. At first he'd thought that blasted game was a portkey, but other people around weren't wizards at all. Not to mention the things going on inside her weren't exactly normal, and he'd eliminated the possibility of maybe being accidentally sucked into a pensieve. He wasn't the smart one like Hermione. He had no idea what they were dealing with.

Glancing over Fleur's shoulders after she released him, in an attempt hide his blush, he nodded. "If you don't mind, I'm starving," he accepted, glad he'd found someone in the kitchen who could actually cook. "How are you?"

"I see" she stated, she meant I know what you mean- me too; Fleur found this place to be a lot scarier than even her worst nightmare. She hadn't been sure what had brought her here part of her thought perhaps after effects of Voldemort but that turned out false. She'd then run out of ideas and so she'd resigned to simply waiting for someone to find a way out. "Cedric's alive, your brother too...It's so, odd" She concluded. She'd mourned for the both of them and now they were here alive, breathing and none the wiser.

"I'm okay" She nodded, shrugging a little as she focused on the cooking- lonely, scared, concerned, lost, threatened were all words that came to mind but she'd realized with being with Bill that it wasn't her place to be weak and emotional- she was older and Bill was always strong for the family, she had to be too. "who else is here?" she began to plate up the food.

Ron nodded, understanding her words, though he froze when she mentioned his brother being alive. That part was not something he wanted to hear. His eyes widened a bit and it felt like his heart dropped into his stomach. "Wait...my brother?" he repeated, hardly able to make the question come out he was so stunned. Fleur had to be mistaken. All of his family were fine, they'd been fine when he left and came here. Yet this place seemed to defy all concept of time, as Cedric's presence proved. Did that mean at Fleur's time one of his had been killed? Ron couldn't even think it.

"Um...Mione. Some bloke who doesn't think Slytherins are bad, but he didn't look familiar to me. Fred and George," he listed, trying to think around the panic in his chest. He kept his eyes on Fleur, though, hoping he had heard wrong. "What did you mean by my brother is alive, Fleur?" he repeated quietly.

Fleur turned instantly at his question her face dropping- oh no, he was from her past, he didn't know! She tried to make the words come out but her throat closed and she looked away trying to calm herself how do you tell someone their brother died? but he changed the topic so she turned back away and finished serving the food handing him a plate. "No Bill" she murmured- was she a bad wife for wishing her husband was here? Probably. She'd turned back to face him when he'd asked her the heart wrenching question- "I'm from after the final battle, when Harry wins- we" She paused and if looked like she was about to cry. "We lost so much" He explained, but then shook her head- "It doesn't matter he's alive now, no need to worry you" She promised.
