She laughed slightly at his comment as they made their way through the cemetery. Quickly snapping into slayer-mode, Buffy glanced in his direction just as a group of vamps surrounded them.
It's your time to shine.
She smiled and then as fast as she could manage, she jumped up, springing into action, her feet colliding with two vamps, one after the other.
She noticed that Angel wasn't doing much but she kind of liked it. It was her chance to show him what she really could do.
"These are the easy ones.. they don't know a thing about being a vampire," she said as her fist hit another one in the head, his body then disappearing into a cloud of dust.
One more left.
Buffy could sense that he was behind her, even though the vamp wasn't making any movement. Propelling herself backwards, she flipped, hitting him square in the jaw with her foot. Another few moves had him up against a tree and right in front of her so she could stake him.
Letting out a happy sigh, she smiled over at Angel.
"How was that?" she asked, sitting herself up on a tombstone.
