As they made their way into the cemetery he could sense the vampires lurking nearby, could feel the evil in the air around him. But the strongest sensation was the one that made the hair on the back of his neck raise, that caused his body to be on high alert; the proximity of a slayer. He was sure that her youth didn't allow her to pinpoint where her tingles were coming from. With so much demon activity in the town he knew that her senses were always on overdrive.
It didn't take long before they were surrounded by a small group of newly risen vampires. Angel didn't bother reaching for his stake because he wasn't lying about needing a good brawl.
"It's your time to shine...", he replied to Buffy before the vampires ran into a fight they weren't prepared for.
