It took me a little longer to get ready than I had intended, since I had wanted to do everything for myself. As much as I technically was a burden on Lilah at the moment, I didn't want to feel it all the more. Instead, I'd much rather try and start doing at least some things for myself, and then pray that I don't kill myself doing just that.

The night itself went well enough. I only ended up having one beer because I didn't want it to interact too badly with my medication, and Lilah seemed to like having the ability to get out and do something for a change instead of making sure that I didn't die in some way or another.

I wasn't feeling too well the next day, but I figured that it had something to do more with the beer than anything else. When Lilah helped me change my bandages, though, the wound looked weird, so we decided to head over to the hospital and have it checked out.

Lindsey's been at my place for a week now and if I had known that he was going to be such a big baby,I would have tried harder to get out of having nurse duty It's far too late now though. He's been taking up space in my guest bedroom mostly and some how he managed to find a bell, which I swear if he rings the damn thing one more time I may just strangle him! I've been good and making sure that he's been taking his meds and I've spent all of what should be my me time taking care of his sorry ass.

Tonight was no different I'd made sure he had everything he needed, before I went to take a nice long bubble bath. Before I left the room I told him not to ring that damn bell or call me unless it was an *actual* emergency of some kind, then I went into the bathroom and shut the door, leaving it open just a crack so that I could hear him if he did actually need something.

What the Hell Happened? Apr. 28th, 2010 @ 07:40 pm

The last thing I remember is being in the middle of court when a sudden very intense and sharp pain hits me in the middle of my closing arguments. I was completely set up to win, so I just decided to ignore it. Of course, it doesn't go away. I'm sweating profusely and feeling like I'm dying, but I'm doing my best to keep going and just pretend it's not happening when I finally end up passing out from the pain. Not exactly a way to make a slam dunk big win for the firm.

I have no idea what happened, but all I know is that I woke up in a hospital bed in what I'm assuming is the hospital floor of the firm. So, what the hell just happened to me? This is so not good at all. I can't be sick right now!
