Last night, Edward Albarn, director of the Dragon Research and Restraint Bureau, along with wife Edna and children Sarah and Paul were found dead in their Leeds home. While Ministry representatives could not give many details on the investigation so far, they have confirmed that the Dark Mark was found over the home, and that all four appear to be have been killed by the Killing Curse. Albarn, 46, had been married to Muggle wife Edna for the past 17 years. Their children had both been enrolled in Muggle Primary School. Neither had yet reached Hogwarts age.
The Albarns lived in a Muggle neighbourhood and an Obliviator who wished to remain anonymous reported that as of time of print, memories of the attack were still being cleared. There appear to have been no other casualties, although members of three nearby families all had injuries.
Investigation into this tragedy has already begun and Department of Magical Law Enforcement Head Bartemius Crouch assures the public that the perpetrators of this horrendous crime will be brought to task.
