Maybe it was a good thing the scientists weren't around, because if they were she might have just asked them to let her leave. Begged them, even. Really the one thing keeping her here was Harry, though. She couldn't leave him, wouldn't leave him and didn't want to, either. No matter how lonely she felt, or left out, or disliked or hurt or angry or confused. But her head was such a fucking mess. She'd been feeling like crap all week and then she'd just exploded with anger over people acting like idiots (in her eyes), and then the new Ginny arguing with her and being a bitch (in her opinion), and on top of all that there was everything with her and Harry and Remus... she barely knew which was was up anymore. Her head was pounding and her eyes were sore from crying and she was sitting on the floor in James and Lily's Unit with her knees drawn up to her chest, wrapping her own arms around herself as if that was anywhere close to being held by Harry, or her family even.
She didn't know what was going on or what was going to happen. She wanted Harry to come here, but she wouldn't be surprised (or even too angry really), if he went to Remus instead... Apparently Remus needed him. She couldn't begrudge him that, even if one minute Remus was scolding her for throwing a tantrum and the next he was throwing one of his own, and fuck if she knew what to do with that. With any of it. But he was still Harry's father and she knew that meant something. Merlin did she.
A part of her thought she should just leave. Find one of her Mum's rooms and just curl up there for the night. But she'd promised Harry she wasn't leaving, and even regardless of that, she wanted to see him. Needed to see him and know he was alright, and just be held in his arms again. So she was just going to stay here on the floor, with her journal at her side, waiting. It wasn't like she had anything else to do, or anywhere else to go. And she'd promised. Ginny didn't break a promise.
