Who: Luna & Lyra Lovegood (14-blood) What: discussing their conversation with Mr Theta! When: after all of this Where: Viridian City Warnings: TBD
It had been a relatively normal day of traveling for Luna and Lyra. Pokemon Land was full of very interesting things to see, whether they were human or creature or completely inanimate. It was a wonderful experience for Luna, since she and her sister had spent quite a few imaginative afternoons playing at exploring worlds like this one. Sometimes specifically the world of Pokemon, even, though their imaginations had certainly not stopped there. To actually end up in this world was positively delightful, perhaps not any more real than what Luna's imagination had conjured, but she was enjoying traveling through a place that someone else's imagination had made, too.
And she was very much enjoying the company of her pokemon. Her Hoothoot had evolved a few days ago, somewhat to Luna's dismay, and she had wondered briefly whether the Noctowl would be very different, but its personality seemed much the same, which was comforting. Growlithe and Haunter, at least, would not evolve on their own, which was alright with her. Her newer pokemon would need to gain some experience before that happened, too; her latest, Ledian, had been fluttering along beside her since she caught it, making punching motions in the air that seemed rather silly.
But she wasn't really thinking about Pokemon anymore; hadn't been since they'd stopped for the night, just outside Viridian City. It wasn't actually dark yet, but Luna was rather liking Route 2 with its proximity to Viridian Forest, so she'd suggested that they stop to set up their campground before actually entering the city. They could explore it in the morning.
She had a lot on her mind, and wanted to talk things over with her sister. She just wasn't entirely sure where to start. What was most on her mind was the suggestion of chances not taken; the mental image of an opportunity knocking on the door and going unanswered. "Gartil oomwat amptyplotzen?" she asked, wondering if Lyra thought they had missed any chances, as Mr. Theta was suggesting. If so, the scientists-- or the chances themselves-- had not done a very good job of making themselves apparent; Luna thought her hearing was rather keen, and would have noticed opportunity knocking. She voiced this sentiment, as well. "Herry blaff igglesply."
