Who: Justin Finch-Fletchley & Seamus Finnigan What: Meeting up and talking about this crazy place they're in Where: Pokemon Center- Vermilion City When: Wednesday afternoon Warnings: Swearing, because it's Seamus Status: In progress
Seamus wished he had a galleon for the number of times he had to watch this stupid TV show with his cousins. Granted, Seamus typically just groaned and asked them "Are ye really watchin' this crap again?" and then he'd find something else to do as Conor and Erin glued themselves to the telly. He'd never expected to end up in the show, or rather, in a world based on the show. If he had, Seamus might have paid a bit more attention, but so far he'd been doing alright. He'd done what Mr. Theta instructed him to and gave Nate and Claire the Flash TM. He wasn't too sure what to do now, he wasn't really a trainer or anything, so he didn't really need to go about battling and catching pokemon, did he? It always looked a bit cheesy on the telly, but he supposed it might be fun in real life. Might be worth a go later anyway, at least.
For now, Seamus was just waiting for Justin in front of the Pokemon Center. He'd been talking to him and Harry over the journals...which were pokegear now, but he'd rather like to see someone from his world in person. It might help convince him that this was real, although Seamus was starting to question whether or not he really wanted it to be real. He knew nothing about alternative universes before- he'd heard about them, of course, but he thought it was all a bunch of science fiction. It was getting hard to reconcile his reality with other people's, particularly the games world, and he was confused about which world was more...real. He supposed they were all equally real, but that was a bit too...metaphysical, or whatever, for Seamus to understand. In fact, he wasn't even sure metaphysical was the right word- what was metaphysics exactly, anyway? It just seemed like the right word, so he'd just stick with it.
Seamus was discovering that it was a big comfort to have people from your world and time around- people who understood the same things and places and people, and so he was eager to talk to Justin in person.
