It was a very good thing that Harry had attended the Theta movie nights as much as he had (not every night, but most) and that he had gotten into quite a few pokemon discussions with his kids. He wasn't a Pokemon expert, by any means, but when he was thrown into the Pokemon Land, he wasn't nearly as disconcerted by it as he might have been otherwise. He had found himself in the position of Pokemon Champion, with an interesting assortment of the creatures already belonging to him. They were intimidating; it was a good thing they already considered him their owner or master or something, or he would not have liked being in the same room as them, especially considering he seemed to be without his wand. But no one had wands in the show; the Pokemon were supposed to be his protection, he was pretty sure. And as they were a pretty formidable looking group, he couldn't really complain.
He'd identified them, first, and then spent some time helping others assigned to the Elite Four get accustomed to their own. So far, so good. He'd have to have some pokemon battles at some point, probably, but it would take the children a while to get to him, he figured; he could relax a bit.
Most of his pokemon were back in their pokeballs, since they seemed comfortable enough in there, but he hadn't put Pigeot back since he'd taken her out. He liked her company, because she reminded him of Hedwig. He went and stood right at the edge of the plateau, a nostalgic smile on his face as he watched her circle on powerful wings.
