No.
No. This was not right. Not at all. Bela could handle arriving in a strange place all alone, she could handle the ever stranger journals, and she could handle the crazy people. Slowly but surely Bela was figuring this place out, and finding she would most likely not return home. She was alone, yes, but she was strong. Originally she thought she had been kidnapped by an opposing country to use as bait, and torture for information. Discovering the truth, that she was not the only person from a strange time or place, had quelled Bela's worries. She would be fine. So long as she stayed quiet, behaved, and hidden.
Until Gellert arrived. His writing had sent a flood of relief and comfort through Bela. Though their relationship was complicated, Bela loved her husband. She may not agree with all his choices, but she respected them. What she could not handle nor respect was him lying. Bela was unsure whether or not it was a tactic, for Gellert carefully calculated all his actions. What plan could it be to lie to your wife? The only response Bela could father was seeing Gellert immediately. She must know what he was thinking, and why he was acting so strangely. English and America! He could not be going insane, not now.
When Bela heard Gellert arrive outside her door, she flung it open. Though he looked younger, he looked the same as Bela remembered. Her eyebrows knitted together, and Bela's hands went into fists. Her wand was in her pocket, but she would never draw it on Gellert. "Was ist der Sinn davon?" she demanded quickly in German - translating to What is the meaning of this? Anger was thick in her voice, but so was confusion. "What is this America and English? Who are you trying to fool!"
