Humming softly under her breath, Tonks made her way through the Compound towards the Gamma Block, where she'd agreed to meet Albus... again. Since the last time he had claimed to be busy and asked her to come back today. Although why he needed to talk with her in person at all, she had no idea; they were perfectly capable of having a get-to-know-you conversation over the journals, after all. Granted he did seem rather polite, even more so than his father was, but it was still odd. Or... was the oddity of it the sense of dread in the pit of her stomach? Or the sort of pall that had come over her mood, like she knew what was coming but couldn't remember. That was ridiculous though... wasn't it?
Well in a place like this, who knew? Everything was ridiculous, including the fact that she was still missing two whole days from her memory. The time she'd spent with Kirley the other day had gone no further towards helping her remember it, though being in his company certainly was never unpleasant. With a sigh, Tonks gently massaged her temples, wishing she could just remember everything. Hell, she'd wish she could go home... except there was an anxious feeling telling her that was the last thing she wanted, though she had no idea why. Probably because of Teddy and Sirius... that had to be it. if things hadn't been confusing enough, a whole rash of people had shown up today, and she was getting the oddest feeling from some of them that she couldn't quite place. Not that it wasn't nice seeing the apparent next generation, but still.
Pushing aside her confusing thoughts and emotions, Tonks knocked as she reached the door to Albus' room. He'd mentioned it was unlocked, so after a moment Tonks gently pushed the door open, stepping just inside, tucking her hands into her jeans and smiling at him as she said, "Wotcher, Alby. Wow, you look so much like your Dad..." She shrugged slightly and gave him a smile. "I bet you get that all the time, sorry. It's just weird for me, seeing the... next generation, or whatever."
