Who: Ginnycolor & Mr. Gamma What: Talking about Albus and Toma When: Wednesday, 12 December Where: Mr. Gamma's Office Warnings: Likely none.
Ginny was still having a hard time with the whole situation between her son and Toma Riddle. She'd been wary of their friendship when they were small and then wary of their friendship when it resulted in their changed living arrangements but now that he loved her, it was worrying her to death. Talking to Harry had helped but not helped and she was confident that Albus knew now that she did love him and was trying her hardest to come to terms with the situation but the simple fact remained that she still couldn't accept it. Between that and the bollocks with Charlie, Ginny wasn't an entirely happy camper.
In her desire to work on her predicament, she'd decided to first confront Charlie which had reaped mediocre results and then to talk to Mr. Gamma whom she thought would have possibly a different response for her than either Albus or Harry or anyone else. He had an entirely different perspective on the situation, she was sure.
Besides, she wasn't unafraid of letting him down the way she felt with Harry and Albus.
Knocking on the doorframe that evening, Ginny stepped into Mr. Gamma's office and wrapped one arm across her middle. "Thank you for letting me come to talk," she started, finding it vaguely humorous that this felt more like a meeting of equals than a conversation with her scientist. She supposed they were equals. He was Toma's father and she was Albus' mother. They were parents and that trumped whatever other roles they were playing in this place.
