Cecily was exhausted. The conversations over the journals the last 48 hours had taken an emotional toll on her; one that she preferred not to even think about really. The fact that so many people were thinking of staying was daunting, as well. With the stress of Julie's decisions and memories flooding over her, it was a safe bet to say that Ceci was a bit volatile at the moment. So in her standard fashion, she had gone to check out a book from the library.
They still had the classics, although the switched genders threw her off a bit, especially with Pride and Prejudice. Ceci could probably read it in her sleep, but with Darcy being a girl and George Wickham going after a fifteen year old boy, there was a bit of a creepy factor to it. The story didn't seem nearly as romantic.
Sighing as she curled her legs under her, Ceci sat still, eyes surveying the landscape. She shut her book, sufficiently tired of reading and hummed, tapping her foot to a song that wouldn't exist for years after this time period. "Now let me at the truth, which will refresh my broken mind."
