Who: Harry & Ginny What: FINALLY MEETING When: Sunday morning @ Harry's release from the hospital Where: Hospital, at least for starters Warnings: TBD Status: Incomplete
Harry had not slept much in the hospital, and he was starting to feel it by the time they finally released him. Once his bandages were off, he was able to write, at least; his hands were still incredibly sore, but otherwise fully functional. And no tentacles either, thank Merlin. He was ready to feel normal again, or at least as normal as he could ever feel. As much like himself as was possible in this weird place.
He hadn't heard from Ginny, but in flipping back through his journal to see what he'd missed, he'd seen that she was camped outside the hospital; maybe she was one of the people he'd heard pounding on the doors. He felt guilty for not having been able to write the night before, to let her know he was alright, but hopefully now he'd be able to show her in person. She'd said she wouldn't believe it til then, anyway, and he couldn't really blame her, not after everything they'd been through. She'd already had to see him 'dead' once.
Making his way out of the hospital, he looked around. Sure enough, there she was, curled up under a blanket not far away. Harry's heart swelled a bit at the sight of her, despite the fact that there were still-- well, things they'd needed to talk about. He'd made things alright with the other Harry, but it was really him and Ginny that might have the problem.
Crouching down on one knee beside her, he touched her shoulder. "Gin?" he said quietly, not wanting to startle her too much. "Wake up, it's me."
