This place wasn't Neverland, but it wasn't half bad. Sure there were a lot of adults here, but some of them seemed okay. Or less stuffy than the kids. Some of them had even been throwing a party. And while it had been less than exciting for freeze tag's sake, it had had more than abundant snacks. With his arms loaded, the young flyer had made his way quickly out of common area, hoping to share his take with Tink and the Boys, but only after tucking in himself first.
He settled on top of the diving board, the highest point in the giant artificial lagoon, almost like his crow's nest, and spread the stolen sweets in his lap. He looked down and still couldn't get past what he saw. Cause that was what they never told a boy about growing up. She reached up and felt the small bumps under her tunic. The breasts--they were actually kind of neat, but not the right thing for a boy at all. It was one of the reasons Peter was never going to grow up.
That and being an adult sucked.
The cakes were right for a boy though, so Peter turned his attention back to those, sitting on the diving board of the pool with his legs crossed, one dangling off the board.
