o omicron block experiment

It’s time for some good ol’ fashioned fall fun, y’all! Omicrons will find a large tub filled with yellow, red, and green apples sitting in the commons. The room smells strongly of apple cider, and a large cauldron is mulling over the fireplace that suddenly appeared against the far wall. Cups are available should anyone want a sip. If they decide to have a glass, they will find that they are only able to speak the truth for the rest of the day.

A sign is propped up next to tub of apples encouraging the taken to hold their arms behind their backs, dunk their heads in, and fish for an apple using their teeth. Taken will experience mild shocks should they try to use anything other than their chompers, so be careful! They will feel cool water on their faces as they bob, but once their teeth clamp down on an apple the water will change and they will find themselves being hurtled into a memory.

If they bit into a red apple, they will find themselves in a memory regarding something or someone they love. This might be a memory of eating Gran’s apple pie, a wedding night, the birth of a child, etc. Yellow apples will take them into a memory where they acted cowardly. If they stay in the memory long enough then they will be able to see how things would have gone differently should they have put on their big kid underroos. Green apples will transport will transport the Taken to a childhood memory; some will be in the own perspective and some will be from a parent’s or guardian’s.

They are allowed to repeat this for as many times as they want, but they cannot bob twice in a row. It’s for everyone to enjoy!! The memory may seem like it takes a while for the Taken with their head in the water, but it will in fact only take a few milliseconds and appears to observers like they are naturally bobbing for apples. And for the medically-inclined Omicrons, don’t worry; the water will magically sanitize itself after the person is out so no fear of catching anyone else’s germs. They're free to eat the apples when they pull their heads out of the tub.
