Who: HarryTHG and GinnyUKR What: Talking about things and meeting for the first time When: Sunday Night Where: Library
He closed his journal, starting towards the library like he and Ginny had agreed upon. He wasn't really sure what to expect. This Ginny wasn't the Ginny he knew, their lives were completely different, they were different and Harry had all but avoided Ginnys since his left. It hadn't been intentional, it just happened. He mostly kept to himself in the compound anyway. Everyone else seemed to have people, Harry, well Harry was just there, alone. Sure there were people he talked to, people he saw and even a version of his mum he enjoyed tea with on a weekly basis, but he just wasn't good with people. He never really knew what to do with them and he wasn't really used to having people stick around. He wasn't really used to being able to trust people.
But he made a decision that he would try. These people, well, they were family. They were good hearted and well intentioned and none of them seemed to want his head on a silver platter. They were good people and Harry needed more good people in his life. He needed to start letting people in and this Ginny seemed like the perfect one to start with.
Harry found himself in front of the library apparently ahead of Ginny, which wasn't all that surprising actually considering she arrived the night before. It struck him that he probably should have offered to meet up with her in her block to walk her here. It would have been the more polite thing to do. He made a mental sticky note to do that next time and shoved his hands in his pockets as he waited.
