Tau has decided to put her own twist on the pensieve. Now, her Taken have the option to re-watch a memory they've already seen and change the way that it went. They can make different choices, potentially save lives (their own or someone else's), make the whole thing fade to black, or add a mariachi band and glitter: whatever suits their fancy. The only catch is that they have to live through it as is first, before being able to make changes on the second go. Obviously, it doesn't change anything that actually happened in their world or anyone else's, just inside their heads. For memories they've already seen, i.e. this morning or yesterday morning, they will have the option to see them again (even if this means more than five options are available to them in the pensieve), and will somehow know that they will be able to make it different if they choose it again, in much the same way that one knows things in dreams. For everything else they choose from now on, whenever they finish the memory, they will immediately have the option to go through it again and change things, or to leave the pensieve room and wake up as normal. subjects All of Tau Block. when / duration. Now until the end of this world. |
