Colin was happy here. He was with Justin and that was what mattered. He was safe enough. At least he hoped he was. He was used to everything that was in their world. He was used to the way that Justin was around him in public and how they had to be most of the time. "I know. You would never leave me on purpose." If he could count on anyone it would always be Justin.
His eyes closed for a moment at the feeling of Justin's fingers in his hair. This was where he was supposed to be. He'd just never get it at home. Not really. Justin may have rambled sometimes, but Colin was sure that he rambled even more. In fact, he probably would have if Justin hadn't kissed him. Kisses were special. They were like getting sweets in the Wilds. Always special and sometimes unexpected.
"Because...he..." Colin frowned a little. "He said I'd disfigured myself. He seemed upset that we had to have them. I told him they were normal and I didn't say it wasn't fake." His nose wrinkled slightly. "He hugged me and cried on me and I didn't know what to do. I tried not to make him upset or get in trouble. We were in the middle of...of everywhere. Where everyone could see us. And he said he wouldn't let anyone hurt me. It was weird."
